The IRS has announced that beginning on Monday, February 14th, they will start processing both e-filed and paper returns for forms which were previously delayed.
As a reminder, these forms include:
• Schedule A (Itemized Deductions)
• Form 8917 (Tuition and Fees Deduction)
• Amount on Form 1040, line 23 or Form 1040A, line 16 (Educator Expense deduction)
• Form 4684 (Casualties and Thefts)
• Form 5405 (First-Time Homebuyer Credit and Repayment of Credit)
• Form 8910 (Alternative Motor Vehicle Credit)
• Form 3800 (General Business Credits)
Watch your email as we’ll send you a reminder again on the 14th!
You can still get your refund in as little as 8* days so remember to use e-file & direct deposit when you come back on February 14th to file!
